Wishlist for an accelerator engineer - interplay between ion imaging and the beam delivery system

We would like to discuss what prerequisites a clinical accelerator needs to fulfill for a proton imaging system to work best. On the other hand, it could be illuminating for those developing proton imaging systems to understand the constraints that the accelerator specialists face.
Hywel Owen, accelerator physicist from the University of Manchester, will give an introduction to the technical side of particle accelerators to kick off the discussion round.
